Today we flew into Div. D due to the distance. At about noon the fire blew up in Div. Y. It sounds like the fire may have entered the San Rafael Wilderness in 3 locations. Starting tomorrow the fire will go from a type 2 team to a type 1 team.

Lead saw cutting line. Notice how thick the brush is. Some areas on the fire have not burned since 1922.
