Laguna Hotshot Camp Weather

Thursday, July 27, 2006

The crew has been working late shifts but has been able to go home at night since the fire is local. Currently we are buttoning up the last bit of open line across Hauser Canyon. Mostly cold trailing (walking the fires edge checking for heat and lining only the hot areas). The fire is pretty much done and we expect demob in a couple of days. They say it's 25% contained at 16,455 acres, but containment is higher. We'll have more photo's on our next posting but here is a map of the fire.
