The crew actually arrived safely at the fire yesterday afternoon. They will be spiked out for a few shifts and help punch in a hand line around the parameter of the fire. The fire is about 3,045 acres. This fire is only 50% contained. Active fire behavior, spotting and torching were observed yesterday. It's burning in Timber, grass and understory. Power lines and structures remain threatened. Today's weather will be in the 90s, with low humidities.
