The crew is home for two days of R & R, and is to return to the Poomacha Fire on Monday Morning. This is to fill behind the crews that will be timing out at this time. We can be assigned up to 3 days then back home to shut down for the season as our temp employees time out on their 1039's.

CAL FIRE Incident Command Team #4(Ault) is in Unified Command with the Cleveland National Forest (Joseph). Control strategies include minimizing the fire spread and minimizing impacts to the Agua Tibia Wilderness. Current burned acres by landowner: BLM(3,108), CDFG(472), CA State Parks(1,117), USFS(5,164), Unclassified-private,other(19,704), Rincon Res.(3583),San Pasqual Res. (7), Pauma-Yuima Res (5,324), Pala Res.(2,221) La Jolla Res (8,710). In addition to the structures destroyed, 353 vehicles were destroyed. A transition to a Type II Federal Team, Southern CA #1 (Walker), is planned for 11/5/07 at 0600 hours. The incoming team will shadow Team 4 today to assist in the transition. The fire cause was released as a structure fire spreading into the vegetation. The cause of the structure fire is undetermined.
