The crew has been very busy cutting direct & indirect handline on a few different divisions. The latest update on the fire is approx. 12,168 acres and 30% contained. There was little spread today due to some light rain last night. Containment efforts are being hampered by some extremely steep terrain!! The fire is located 22 miles SW of King City, CA. (Check the SPOT icon on the right corner to see where the crew is.) This fire is very close to the Monterey Coastline.
