First Off-Forest Assignment

The crew was ordered on Sunday evening to the Tujunga fire near Santa Clarita, CA. This is on the Angeles National Forest and is currently 130 acres, in steep terrain. It is 90% contained and the crew is assisting in mop up & punching in handlines. They will do 1 more shift tomorrow then be released and/or available for anymore starts in that area. Sounds like there was some heavy illegal fireworks this weekend in that area.
