First Shift
The crew pulled their first shift today. Fairly easy fire except that it was steeep and rocky. Some of the newer folks got their first helicopter ride ever. It sounds like we will pull maybe 1-2 more shifts. The fire is pretty much done except for some mop up and isolated smokes in the upper drainages.

Well where I come from the people who do something for the "first time" has to buy ice cream for the crew. So who are the newbies???
