The crew arrived at the Base camp for check-in this morning. They were headed out to the fireline around 1200 hrs today. Sounds like the fire is burning in beetle-kill timber. Attempts could be made tomorrow to do a firing operation to hold contingency lines. They are near a small community, Conocully, northwest of Omak, near the boundary of the Okanogan National Forest. They are only about 30 miles from the U.S./Canadian border

Laguna Hotshots have made it to Washington!
