The pilot of this aircraft flew many fires in the Southern California area, including the Cedar fire of 2003. Having them assist us on fires here in SoCal was common since Porterville was often used for a relief air attack. Such a sad loss to the firefighting world. The family of both the pilot and the CDF Battalion Chief are in my prayers!!

AA410 and crew will be missed by all. Remember it's the routine everyday incidents that accidents and injuries happen all to often.
