The crew has been transitioned into dayshift on the Day Fire. They are helping construct line construction around the perimeter of the fire, before the East winds blow on Sunday. The area is extremely steep and the fire behavior has been extreme. Potential pockets of unburned fuels have potential to cause runs to the South due to Northeast winds. Suppression efforts and rocky areas may help limit this situation.
