DAY 6

Still firing out the east end of the fire, off of Hwy 33 in Ozena, CA. Hopefully this will complete the east end and they can concentrate on the main fire. First few shifts firing operations were difficult because of the low RH and spot fires kept popping up. The spot fires were easily picked up without any problems. They have been in a spike camp since they've been there, but finally made it to the actual camp tonight. The team on the fire is currently TEAM 1 - Rich Hawkins' team, national Type 1 team. Rich Hawkins is the FMO for the forest where the Laguna Hotshots are based.
