The crew will go available for National assignments on Sunday May 25th. The crew has a tradition of holding a Family Day BBQ (unless dispatched) where family and love ones can come and spend time with their Hotshot before they are gone for the summer. This also allows for the wives and girlfriends to exchange numbers and have that network in place to get through the summer while their Hotshot's are away. They can also communicate through a support site call Wildland Firefighter's Wives (and no, you do not have to be married).
