The crew has been ordered up for the "Merek Fire" on the Angeles National Forest. Last update was the the fire was 750+ acres but the winds died down and the fire is holding. Stronger East Winds are predicted for tonight through tomorrow. The fire is burning in light brush with grass and chaparral. At this time it is approx 50% contained. (NO PICTURES YET)
